The Hugo Valentin–Centrum działające w ramach Uniwersytetu w Uppsali zaprasza do udziału w panelu zatytułowanym "Emotional Warfare and its Limits: Towards an Affective Turn in International Humanitarian Law", który zostanie zorganizowany w ramach konferencji "Historicising International (Humanitarian) Law? Could we? Should we?" (6–8 października 2016 r.). Organizatorzy są szczególnie zainteresowani następującymi tematami:
- emotions involved in the development of international humanitarian law
- the role of emotions in the creation of customary international humanitarian law
- the affective expression of international States and non–state entities during armed conflicts
