In November 2024, ELI published its ELI-Mount Scopus European Standards of Judicial Independence. The 38 Standards, accompanied by commentaries, cover various areas, including judicial governance, appointments and promotion, ethical standards, and judicial discipline.
We organise three webinars to discuss the output in more depth. After a successful Webinar I on the Foundations of Judicial Independence (recording here), we will have Webinar II on Judicial Governance and Judicial Appointments and Promotion on 29 January 2025 from 12:30–14:00 CET (more information here) and Webinar III on Ethical Standards and Judicial Discipline, 12 February 2025 from 12:30–14:00 CET (more here).
