Propozycje referatów mogą dotyczyć czterech obszarów tematycznych:

• Sustainability or Environmental Sustainabilities? A Plural Concept?
• Sustainable goods, services and processes: a multiple implementation?
• The evolution of measures and indicators of environmental sustainability
• The sustainability of the concept of 'environmental sustainability': Is this the sustainability our anthropocene era needs?

Zgłoszenia (résumé, tytuł wystąpienia i abstrakt o objętości 1000-1500 słów) należy przesłać przed 15 lutego 2021 r.

Call for papers: Sustainable Ocean Conference (Utrecht, wrzesień 2020 r.)

Na zakończenie "Sustainable Ocean Project" w Utrechcie odbędzie się konferencja w dniach 3-4 września br.

Wystąpienia mają koncentrować się wokół czterech tematów:

• Due diligence as obligation and/or balancing standard;
• Balancing principles in international law interpretation;
• The role of regionalism in the accommodation of multiple interests;
• The role of state consent and the participation of other actors in international law-making and law implementation.

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 500 słów wraz z listą max. 10 publikacji) należy przesyłać do 30 marca br. na adres sustainableocean@uu.nl.

Brunswick European Law School organizuje warsztaty pt. "Emerging Technologies Towards Sustainable Development“, które odbędą się w dniach 28-29 listopada br. w Wolfenbüttel.

Organizatorzy są w szczególności zainteresowani następującymi tematami:

• Emerging technologies and global administrative law. How can previous regulatory frameworks provide a much needed support in terms of regulation? 

• Emerging technologies and public administrative law. Should the regulation of these technologies be conducted in the framework of public international law? 

• Emerging technologies and private international law. How can private international regulatory frameworks provide a much needed support in terms of regulation? 

• Emerging technologies and regulatory frameworks. What kinds of international rules can be adopted in this context?

• Emerging technologies and sustainable development. What are the contributions of these technologies to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to socio-economic development of LDCs? 

• Emerging technologies and intellectual property. Is the current intellectual property regime able to boost innovation while at the meantime further the objectives of the international community?

Call for papers: The Private Side of Transforming the World – UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and the Role of Private International Law (Hamburg, wrzesień 2020 r.)

Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Law w Hamburgu organizuje konferencję w dniach 10-12 września 2020 r., która ma być poświęcona relacjom między celami zrównoważonego rozwoju, wyrażonymi w rezolucji Zgromadzenia Ogólnego ONZ z dnia 25 września 2015 r. oraz prywatnym prawem międzynarodowym.

W zgłoszeniu należny wskazać, którym z 17 celów zrównoważonego rozwoju chce zająć się kandydat, czy ma jakieś doświadczenie w temacie oraz wskazać (do 500 słów) zagadnienie, które przedstawi podczas konferencji. Termin nadsyłania zgłoszeń upływa 10 maja br.

Organizatorzy pokrywają koszty podróży i zakwaterowania. Planowana jest publikacja pokonferencyjna.
