Call for papers: Historical perspectives on medical care in armed conflict

Międzynarodowy Komitet Czerwonego Krzyża ogłosił konkurs na najlepsze policy papers dotyczące opieki medycznej w czasie konfliktów zbrojnych. Teksty mogą odpowiadać m.in. na następujące pytania:

• How does the pattern of attacks on medical care in contemporary armed conflicts compare to other periods in recent history (e.g., since the 1st Geneva Convention in 1864)?
• What do previous examples of respect or a lack of respect for wartime medical care tell us about the present, in terms of shaping our collective public narrative on this norm today? 
• Finally, what insights can be drawn from this historical analysis for policy responses to shore up the protection of medical care in armed conflict? Does history offer any lessons to strengthen policy advocacy on the protection of medical care?

MKCK oczekuje przede wszystkim interdyscyplinarnych tekstów, które mogą prezentować szerszy kontekst historyczny i case study.

Komitet czeka na propozycje tekstów (do 2 stron), które powinny być przesłane na adres icrcevents@gmail.com. Nie wskazano ostatecznego terminu nadsyłania propozycji, ale termin nadesłania pełnych policy papers minie 31 kwietnia 2019 r.
