W dniach 17-18 maja 2019 r. w Tajpej odbędzie się po raz kolejny ILA-ASIL Asia-Pacific Research Forum. Tematem przyszłorocznego forum będzie "International Law and Emerging Powers: New Policy Challenges in the Asia-Pacific".
W czasie Forum Organizatorzy chcieliby zająć się następującymi tematami:
1. New legal order and Asia-Pacific policies (e.g., legal implications of recent Asia-focused policies, including the Indo-Pacific Strategy, the New Southbound Policy, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Act East Policy)
2. International economic law (e.g., development of mega-regional trade agreements such as the CPTPP and the RCEP; EU FTAs and BITs with Asian countries)
3. International arbitration (e.g., new dynamics of investment arbitration and commercial arbitration in the Asia-Pacific)
4. International environmental law (e.g., legal issues of climate change and the conservation of fisheries resources; legal frameworks for nuclear power plants and wind turbines)
5. Law of the sea (e.g., legal and policy issues following the South China Sea Arbitration)
Zgłoszenia (abstrakt wystąpienia do 500 słów z danymi autora i 1-2 stronicowe CV) należy przesyłać do 10 grudnia br. na adres ila@nccu.edu.tw.
