Call for papers: 14th Annual Minerva/ICRC Conference on International Humanitarian Law "Military Justice and Armed Conflict: Old Problems, New Challenges" (Jerozolima, listopad 2019 r.)

Minerva Center for Human Rights oraz Delegacja MKCK w Izraelu i na Terytoriach Okupowanych organizują po raz 14. konferencję prawa humanitarnego, która w tym roku odbędzie się w dniach 11-12 listopada pod hasłem "Military Justice and Armed Conflict: Old Problems, New Challenges".

Propozycje tematów wystąpień w czasie konferencji to:

• The use of military courts to try civilians, both generally and minors, in particular
• Procedural safeguards applicable before military courts 
• The use of special military courts in times of emergency 
• Invocation of international law before military courts 
• New developments in the law of military investigation of serious violations of international law 
• The use of secret evidence in military courts 
• Military courts operated by non-state actors 
• The defence bar and its ability to operate in a level playing field 
• Military courts as administrative courts 
• The accountability of military courts and their agents under international law 

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 750 słów wraz z CV) należy przesyłać do 1 czerwca br.
