W dniach 9-11 lipca 2020 r. w Mediolanie odbędzie się konferencja Society of International Economic Law pt. "Reshaping Global Economic Governance for the 21st Century".
Organizatorzy są szczególnie zainteresowani zgłoszeniami propozycji referatów i paneli dotyczących następującej problematyki:
● the future of international economic governance, including reform options for international economic institutions and/or issues concerning international adjudication of trade, investment and commercial disputes;
● Policies to achieve sustainable development goals and address climate change;
● trade wars and their impact on the rules-based multilateral trading system;
● the relationship between multilateral and (mega)regional arrangements and / or different approaches in regional arrangements;
● the challenges encountered and opportunities created by regional arrangements, such as the Belt and Road Initiative, the European Union after Brexit, and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement;
● transnational business and the challenge of market fragmentation;
● cooperation against corruption and money laundering;
● comparing treaty interpretation in trade and investment disputes;
● future pathways for the knowledge economy;
● methods and trends in researching, teaching and learning of IEL, including doctrinal and empirical methodologies; and
● interactions between scholars, practitioners, government officials and civil society groups active in IEL.
Zgłoszenia należy przesyłać do 10 stycznia 2020 r.
Przewidywana jest opłata konferencyjna, ale Organizatorzy nie podali jeszcze jej wysokości.
