W dniu 15 maja 2020 r. w Krakowie odbędzie się pierwsza część Sympozjum nt. "Exploring the Frontiers of International Law in Cyberspace". Druga część planowana jest na listopad 2020 w Leiden. Organizatorami są Zakład Prawa Międzynarodowego UJ i Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, przy wsparciu European Society of International Law.
Krakowska część sympozjum poświęcona będzie tematowi: "Ensuring Responsible State Behaviour in Cyberspace". Organizatorzy zainteresowani są zwłaszcza wystąpieniami dotyczącymi następujących tematów:
- Rules and norms of responsible State behaviour in cyberspace, in particular in context of the new OEWG and GGE proceedings
- Western and non-Western approaches to international law in cyberspace
- The application of International Humanitarian Law to cyber armed conflicts
- Sovereignty in cyberspace; aspects of “digital sovereignty”
- State responsibility in cyberspace
- Individual and collective reactions to cyberattacks, cyber restrictive measures, countermeasures etc.
- Supply chain security and international trade law (vide 5G, Huawei etc.)
- Extraterritorial jurisdiction (U.S. CLOUD Act, EU draft e-evidence regulation etc.)
Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 800 słów i CV) należy przesyłać do 15 grudnia 2020 r. na adres esil-symposium-krakow(at)outlook.com. Najlepsze artykuły z obu części sympozjum opublikowane zostaną w specjalnym numerze Leiden Journal of International Law. Dla członków ESIL istnieje możliwość ubiegania się o dofinansowanie kosztów podróży.
