8 czerwca 2021 r. odbędzie się 2021 SOAS SoL Postgraduate Colloquium, w tym roku pt. "Law and Inequality". Zaproszenie do wzięcia udziału w Kolokwium jest skierowane do doktorantów.
W czasie wydarzenia Organizatorzy chcieliby poruszyć następujące tematy:
(a) The role of law in creating and/or perpetuating structural inequalities;
(b) Exclusionary role of law;
(c) Inequalities exposed by the pandemic;
(d) Conceptualisation and problematisation of the notions of inequality;
(e) Pervasiveness of inequality in different areas of law such as tax law, financial regulation, intellectual property rights, environmental law etc;
(f) Inequality and its effects on democratic values, human rights and judicial processes;
(g) Remedies to inequality proposed through doctrinal, historiographical, comparative and socio-legal research approaches.
Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 500 słów i podstawowe dane o autorze) należy przesyłać do 14 marca br.
Jeśli uda się zorganizować Kolokwium na miejscu w Londynie, będzie istniała możliwość ubiegania się o dofinansowanie do kosztów podróży.
