Call for papers: 17th Dubrovnik Jean Monnet Seminar ‘Advanced Issues of European Law’ (Dubrownik, kwiecień 2019 r.)

17. edycja Dubrovnik Jean Monnet Seminar odbędzie się pod hasłem "The Rule of Law in the EU and US" w dniach 14-18 kwietnia 2019 r. w Dubrowniku.

Propozycje wystąpień mogą koncentrować się m.in. wokół następujących tematów:

• the understanding of the concept of the rule of law by different actors: political institutions at the supranational, international and national level, courts, and citizens,
• comparative approaches to the concept of the rule of law,
• practical use of the ‘rule of law’,
• role of different institutions and the instruments for upholding the rule of law,
• role of courts, especially the Court of Justice of the European Union, in safeguarding the rule law,
• rule of law as applied to courts, and
• main causes of the rule of law crisis in the EU and US and its repercussions on the global level.

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 500 słów i CV) należy przesyłać do 31 stycznia 2019 r. na adres jmseminar.dubrovnik@gmail.com.

Organizatorzy przewidują ograniczoną liczbę grantów na sfinansowanie udziału w konferencji.
